The 5th edition of Coimbatore’s premier cycling event, “The MVS Cycling Carnival 2018” is back in the city.
India’s coveted cycling event “MVS Coimbatore Criterium” in association with Tamil Nadu Cycling Association (TNCA) opens its doors to a one-of-a-kind cycling carnival at Kari Motor Speedway on February 10 and 11.
Event categories include; professionals, amateur men, women, kids, under 18, masters men & masters women above 35 and veterans above 55.

This year SCOTT Sports India introduces The SCOTT XC series for all mountain biking enthusiasts across the country to encourage their love and passion towards the sport. A total cash prize of Rs. 2,40,000/ is be won by the prize winners.
The MVS Coimbatore Criterium at Kari Motor Speedway on February 11 and MVS Coimbatore Enduro at Enduro farm and fairway track opposite to Coimbatore golf club on February 10.
This event caters to all cycling enthusiasts for categories as below:
Mixed Relay Race: Introducing the family fun package this year. The first of its kind relay races where you participate with your loved ones as a team.
Registration charges: Individual - Rs. 850/-.
Under 18 boys: Riders can participate as individuals.
Registration charges: Individual - Rs. 500/-.
Amateur women: This event is open for women of all age groups.
Registration charges: Individual - Rs. 500/-.
Kids: This category is for all the excited kids out there to experience the feel of a race track. The race will be organized under the following age categories:
Under 6,8,10,12,14 for each category.
Registration charges: Individual - Rs. 250/-
Amateur Men: Open to all men above 18 years of age.
Registration charges: Individual Rs. 500/-.
Masters Women: On popular demand, we have a competitive event for women aged 35 years and above. Proof of age to be produced for verification during collection of bibs.R
Registration charges: Individual Rs. 500/-.
Masters Men: Open to men aged 35 years and above. Proof of age to be produced for verification while collecting bibs.R
Registration charges: Individual Rs. 500/-.
Elite: This is for the pros and riders will be competing against the best in India. This category is open only for riders on road bikes. This event is open to men and women.
Registration charges: Individual - Rs. 625/-.
Veterans Men & Veterans Women: This is for seniors who want to be a part of the action. Riders aged 55 and above can take part in this category.
Registration charges: Individual - Rs. 500/-.
